Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome Back!! I hope all of you are well and we are looking forward to seeing everyone! I hope you had an enjoyable summer and are ready to start a new school year.

Below is our arrival and dismissal schedule. 

Arrival

• K – 8 - Arrive by 7:55 a.m. using the Canarsie Road doors.
• Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 - Arrive by 7:50 a.m. using the Skidmore Road doors.

**Please note: if your child is coming for breakfast (starting on Thursday, Sept. 7) they must be here between 7:30 am and 7:45 am. Also, if your child is being dropped off at 7:30 they must go down to breakfast.

Dismissal

• Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 Dismiss at 2:20 p.m. from the Skidmore Road doors.
• K - Dismisses at 2:45 p.m. from the schoolyard.
• Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4 Dismiss at 2:50 p.m. from the schoolyard
• Grades 5 and 6 Dismiss at 2:55 p.m. from the Canarsie Road doors.
• Grades 7 and 8 Dismiss at 3:00 p.m. from the Canarsie Road doors.

School will begin on Wednesday, September 6th grades K to 8th grade with a 12:30 dismissal. Thursday, September 7th and Friday, September 8th will be a full day for grades K to 8th grade.

Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 will come in on Wednesday, September 6th for an hour orientation. Parents will accompany their child and stay during the orientation and then the parents will take the child home. Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 will have half days on Thursday, 7 th and Friday 8 th with dismissal at 12:30.

Full days will start on Monday, 11th with a 2:20 dismissal. Pre-K parents will be receiving a separate letter outlining the time of the orientation and other details they would need to know.

Students should be in their school uniforms starting with the first day they attend school. Students will receive information regarding their gym days and when they would wear their gym uniform during the first week of school. Full gym uniforms will be required for all students. Gym uniforms can be purchased from Ideal Uniform Store on Flatbush Avenue.

Please note that school lunch and breakfast will start with the first full day of school (September 7). With respect to OPT bus service, we will be sending out a form during the first week regarding bus service. Please remember there will not be bus service during the first week of school.
