New York City Police Officer Steven McDonald’s life changed in an instant. Completely paralyzed and wheelchair-bound as a result of a ruthless shooting that took place over two decades ago, McDonald visits communities all over the city to talk about being a victim of violence. He shared his heroic story with hundreds of students from Our Lady of Trust Catholic Academy last Friday morning.
